I hope all of you are doing well, we are! Addison is growing so fast we went yestorday and had her weight checked, she is now 8lbs and 1 oz! We love our little piglet!

Working with black&white and color...

I guess I am about to spoil people with 2 posts in one day. Oh well. So ok, I don't really have the time to do this but ever since I took these two pictures I thought that they would look really good in some form of black and white. So I quickly hit a few buttons in Canon's Digital Photo Professional program using the original RAW image format and here are the results. I think she looks so cute either way! Enjoy. Family Visits...

So we just said goodbye to my parents as they are now on their way back to Alabama. Mom and Dad drove out and spent a week with us. Jana is also out here and is ending her week with us tomorrow. They have all been so helpful. We had a ton of laundry and ironing and other housework that we had fallen behind on and everyone helped get things back in order! We appreciate the help so much!

Hannah has started back in school. This is her last semester! She is taking two online courses plus two on-campus classes so she's able to stay with Addison more. I am taking some time off to be with Hannah and Addison and studying for another test. This time with my little family is great. I hope everyone is doing well and we send our love from Kansas City!

Pretty in Pink

Our little baby is growing so fast! We have been so busy with learning how to be parents that we have not been able to update! But here is a picture that Jon and I took, yes it was a joint effort!

First Bath

Hi Everyone,

We are doing great! After a little scare we are all home and doing well. We spent two days in Children's Mercy with our little Addison. The doctors seem to think that she had a virus and became dehydrated. But after a little treatment and our constant feedings, she has gained all of her weight back which makes us proud!!

We are home......

We are so glad to be at home! We have enjoyed our little bundle so much already! We do however miss our sleep, but thanks to my mom and dad we have been able to catch up during the day.....there are many more pictures to come.

Addison Claire Matlock

We are pleased to announce that Addison Claire Matlock was born on January 5, 2009 at 12:44pm with weight of 6lbs 11oz, 20 inches long. She's healthy and beautiful. Hannah's doing great too - so far recovery has been easy! She had a total labor time of around 5 hours which is great for a first pregnancy. I delivered our wonderful baby and therefore I was the first person to hold our wonderful little rascal. The Lord has really blessed us! We will have more updates soon.
