Birthday Fun

I had a great birthday and received so many wonderful gifts! But there is one gift that Addison was pretty happy about. Cousins Lily and Mollie sent us a little gift for Addison. She loved them! Needless to say they picked out two very bright and noisy toys. So little Addison had a great time!

We love Great Grandparents!

We had so much fun with Memaw and Papaw Matlock over the weekend. Addison was a little shy but she gave in and gave them lots of lovin!

So we went to Wal-Mart (my least favorite place) today after church. I was walking through the baby section when Addison started shaking and leaning out of the cart. It was the first time that she has leaned out to get something. So we both started looking to see what it was, it was Minnie. She recognized Minnie from the Micky Mouse Clubhouse. Jon picked it up to see if that was what she wanted. She saw him pick it up and she started shaking and reaching for it. Of course Daddy gave in and gave it to her. She has not released it even after we got home. She really loves Micky Mouse Clubhouse, she dances to the hot dog song at the end. It is pretty cute!

Our Home

So due to a request from a certain someone we are posting pictures of where we live. Please excuse the boxes and the blank walls. I am still working on unpacking and hanging pictures. I am also a little afraid of hanging pictures, because once I get settled Jon will want to move. Also, some rooms will be pictures of before we moved in due to the fact that you can see the room better before it is full of boxes! We really love living here, it has so much space. We have three bedrooms and three bathrooms upstairs. Downstairs there is a kitchen and den. With a large room and bathroom. We use that area as Jon's office. These are not the best pictures but maybe you will get a little idea of where we live.

The rest of our kitchen. I love that it is big enough for two people to be in at the same time.

My favorite part! The oven and stove. I really like the flat cook top, easy to clean!

Our basement. This is the kitchen and den area of the basement. Jon's office is the through the door that you see in the picture. There is a large bathroom and closet in that room. We often wish that was our room...
Our Laundry Room/Bathroom. This is right off the Den and Kitchen. This picture was taken before we moved in. The washer and dryer belong to the house, so we were really glad not to have to buy a set!

Big Girl

Addison has been pulling up on anything she can get her little hands on. She has been pulling up on her crib, but Jon never saw her do it, until the other day..... Now she does it all the time. It is great to see her develop and change, but it is also scary. Here are a few pictures of our big girl.

ok, yes you can really tell I am having a great time with my camera. I am trying to wiggle my way through Photoshop. I am going through it alone, so it might take a few tries! I know there are a few people who like them at least....grandmas!

8 Months Today!

Oh every number after her 6th Month is hard. I just know on her first birthday I am going to be a wreck!

Little Hands

Today we made little hands to document Addisons hand size. She is growing so fast so we are trying to soak her up! I stole this idea from Andrea.

Little Helper

Doing housework, has become a little more difficult lately. Addison really enjoys helping and watching. Here is a few shots of what it is like to do dishes with her helping. She also enjoys helping sweep, she likes follow me around the kitchen.

Jon walked in last night and saw me doing the dishes, momma style and could not help but take a few pictures. So sorry for the messy kitchen...
