Falling for You!

I have been looking forward to fall and all of the wonderful things it brings. Leaves changing and cooler weather, after all what pregnant lady does not like to be cooler?? I also love the holidays....Halloween is coming! Get ready! I love that Addison is getting bigger, she knows so much now and is loves the things that go along with holidays. Like this kitty on her shirt! I asked her last night if she wanted to wear her special pjs with the kitty and she could not wait to change! She was not in the mood to get her picture made this morning so this is what we get. But you get the idea that we are completely lovin' this change! Don't tell Jon but when he leaves I open the door and let her out to play...she loves coming in and out and I love the smell of fall!
After we get done celebrating candy, pumpkins and dress up, then we will be celebrating turkey!! It also does not hurt that each holiday means a day closer to holding our babies, and having our whole family at home!

Dance

Some people use DVR to skip commercials, but here in the Matlock house we use it to replay commercials. Addison loves the Ipad commercial music, so we replayed it to let her dance. This video is dark, but you get the idea of our little mover...

We are pleased to announce that we are feeling better and on our way to recovery. Stomach bugs are rough! But I feel being pregnant and with a stomach virus is MUCH worse! There is nothing better (??) than getting your stomach settled and not two but FOUR feet kicking you!!! I tried to explain the feeling to Jon and he could not take it...poor fella. But even when you are a mother yourself, you still need to be mothered at times and we are so thankful that she (momma) was able to come and help us recover. However, we are pretty sure Addison thinks that all company comes just to see her! So she has been soaking up some Nannie time.

A Bug

We have had a runny nose little girl for a few days now. But yesterday it started getting worse and today well its pretty rough on the little girl. So I yes the Matlock family has been bitten by a sick bug!!! So today we are staying home and getting over this thing! Jon says I go a little crazy disinfecting things when we get sick, (but he does too) so I have busy cleaning and holding a sick little girl. I love being a mom, but there are days that I am glad when they are over. And when you are pregnant, not feeling good yourself, and a momma of a toddler...that is one of those days!

Here is a picture of the little girl, she was looking out the window. I am pretty sure she longs to be free of this house, and this sick feeling!

Other than that we are doing good. The babies are growing great and for the most part when we do not have a bug I feel pretty good. I am starting to notice that I feel huge.....and yes I know I will only get bigger! But so far this pregnancy is great! We are 22 weeks and 1 day. We go back in a couple of weeks and then we will start going every two weeks to the doctor! It is getting closer and closer to the day we are parents of three.

First Day

We have decided to start Addison in a Mommy's Day out program. I have been very nervous about sending her somewhere, but with the babies coming I am afraid it will be better for us all. We are taking her to a place that is just a mile or so from our home. We really love her teacher and her friends there. There are only about 5 children in her class. It was hard taking her, since we really never thought we would be taking her somewhere this soon. But we are so happy that she LOVED it! The teachers told me that she acted like she belonged there, she did not even cry when we left. Here is a video of us walking in on her first day! Not much to it, but you can see her go on like a big girl. When we were getting out of the car she practically ran to go in, she was so excited! She might disappointed in the morning when she realizes that we are not going... We only take her a few days a week.
