Cutest thing ever.....

Tonight Addison had a play at school. It was amazing! I have to say that was the most theatrical performance by elementary students I have ever seen! And I will admit that I almost lost it when Addison came out dancing and singing. The tears were welling up then, she started doing her normal thing....looking around and doing her own dance. Then I just wanted to laugh. But we all got a laugh when she held out her middle finger on stage to show us she had a hurt finger. She is so innocent she had no idea that other people might find that funny. I have video that I will try to get on here asap! Not just for that but for the fact that she is soooo cute!
I did not know if Jon would make it, he is on a late schedule this month. But he did and I am so glad he did. I think it was good for Addison to have mommy and daddy all to herself! And it was good for me to have a minute with out a few of my little helpers.
Its been a long day in Mommy land today, and I am so glad that all of the kids are asleep in their beds. However, I will say that watching our princess singing her sweet song made me feel better, it made me have hope that some of our struggles will be better maybe even easier. (I know I can hear you thinking, she doesnt know anything....) But think about it, terrible twos times two thats enough to make any one a little crazy!

Nana Visits

The title of this post should be "Nana brought gifts!" The kids went nuts when Nana walked in! And then they went even nuttier when she gave them goodies! We had a great time, it was so nice to have someone around since Jon was working nights. I think we wore out Nana but we had a blast!
I would make a longer post but there are two children looking at the pics and climbing all over me saying NANA NANA!!!

We don't have kids......

WE HAVE KITTENS!!!
Sorry the video is turned.....

Potty Break!

This morning my sweet boy decided we needed our little potty in the kitchen. I am pretty sure he had no thoughts on actually using it at the time. He just wanted something to stand on...
(Side note, he is ALWAYS moving things so he can be a little taller, aka a little closer to something he is not suppose to have.
I started on breakfast, guess what I heard! Yeap, it was a liquid sound hitting the floor. Talon took off his diaper opened the potty and sat down. He was trying to use the big boy potty!!!! Except he didn't know he had to hmmmm well you know. I ran over there and showed him, he managed to do pretty good. I called Jon in so I could have witness of our little guy! Normally no one would be happy about it being on their kitchen floor. But at that moment I didn't care, he was potty training himself.
Some people ask me when I might start, and I just feel like I am already chasing down one mess after another so I am not going to stress myself out about it. I actually think that they are watching Addison and they are doing it themselves.
I told Jon today that day by day we are loosing our babies, they are growing so fast.

I will be so proud when they are both out of diapers! I know our bank account will too!

When we are not looking.....

I usually let the kids play in the back yard with the door open. They love it, and they are usually really good! But yesterday Talon discovered the spicket. And he also discovered the fun to be had......so they all stripped and played in the pool. Yes, there is NO pool! However Addison thought a plastic box was a home made pool. Love their ideas!
(They might kill me for this picture!)
Jon and I have been wanting to teach Addison about a computer. You know a real one, the ones that she will learn to work with at school. So we pulled out my old hard drive from college and I found a cheap monitor on craigslist. It is working great! When Jon pushed the on button I could feel us both holding our breath to see if it worked. She LOVES it, she is not very good with it yet, but that's what it is for........And Jon set it up in our spare closet. So yes we lock our kid in a closet ( not really) I am excited to get her a few learning games to play.

So a fun story for my readers.
(I bet most mommies have this problem!)
I decided to run to Publix to grap a few things, usually this is the only place I will go when I have to take all THREE kids! Mainly because everyone is so sweet and the bagger usually takes out my groceries for me.
So the kids did great through the whole store, but when we got to check out they were at their limit and were screaming. The bag lady came over and made a comment to the cashier that she was afraid to come down there with all that noise. I looked at her like, WHAT? Were you not a baby one time?
So I let it go, figured its been a while since she had kids, or maybe she didn't, so maybe she has no idea that I am a momma on the edge!
We make our way out, I am dragging Talon, holding a kicking Sophia and yelling at Addison because she is looking at her feet and taking her sweet time in the middle of traffic! I finally get all three screaming kids in the car and told the lady thank you for helping me.
She said, "How many kids do you have?"
I thought can you count? But I replied with "Just the three."
Her answer, get ready, hold on to your chair, "Well I sure hope you aren't planning on having any more, you got enough!"
(Jon and I are happy with our number, and need NO more! BUT YOU never say that to a mother who just struggled through a grocery store with three kids, two of which are 2!)
I felt like counting out loud to ten to let her know I have a lot of patience but its leaving me by the second. So I pulled what any good woman would, it  was the smile.
My reply, "We would count any more children a blessing."
And I just got in my car and left. I am sure she went in and I am sure they all talked about me, but this mommy doesn't care.

While I am on a soap box, people comment alllll the time about, how many kids we have and how young they are. PEOPLE they came two at a time, its not like I could have said, "Hey Talon you wait a year or two, ok." I did feel better about my kids though, because they were acting like adults compared to that lady and any other ADULT who says ridiculous comments about the best things ever to happen to this little family.

I am done, if you read this entire post you deserve a metal!

Mommy's Weeds

We have a crazy group of people living here! I found my little camera today and Sophia went nuts! She wanted her picture made! She says cheese and then runs around to see herself. She loves camera time. I think soon I am going to take them outside and try to get some photos. I have really been slacking on taking pictures of them, and as you will see they are not growing slow!
