Last night we had a very interesting night!Our little lady went to bed at 8 pm last night, which made us very proud. However, she decided at 1 am that she needed to be awake. So I fed her, changed her and laid my peacful baby down. Well as soon as I walked out she started screaming! So I let her cry a little while and went back in. As soon as I walked back in, she turned into a peaceful baby. So we played this game until 415 am. I rocked her a little while and I fell asleep, almost dropping her! So I knew it was time to call in the reinforcment of daddy!
So this is how our night conversation went.
Me: "honey, I need help.."
Jon: "Let her cry, she will be ok"
Me: "I have been doing that since, 1"
Jon: "that is not long enough, leave me a lone"
me: "honey that is three hours"
Jon: "You go take care of her"
Me: FINE! and I lovingly whacked him with my pillow!
So she finally went to sleep.
This mornings talk with daddy.
Me: "I am upset with you about last night"
Jon: "oh no, what happened?"
Me: "You dont remember?"
Jon: "No, all I remember is getting up with her this morning for you"
Me: "Do you remember anything about my pillow?"
Jon: "why should I?"
So I told him the story and he felt bad......he is a funny guy when he sleeps! He was pretty tired I guess.
Does everyone notice that she is in our bed? And did everyone notice that he got up with her and brought her back to me? Jon is a great daddy. What makes this story so funny is that regular awake Jon would have helped me in a second. Sleepy unaware Jon did not really know what was going on!
