Oh dear....That is what I have been thinking a lot lately. It seems as though every time I turn around someone in this house is sick again! It all started on our drive home from AL. Yes that was weeks ago..So it started with a cough and ended with, well, you may not want to know.
But in the meantime Addison has still maintained her appetite for playtime. She may not want to eat, but give her a good toy and she is happy!
Everyone in the Matlock house has been sick, but we think we are past the rough stuff. When babies are sick it can really stress parents out! It amazes me everyday what one learns from being a parent. The tiny worries you never noticed as a kid, that your parents hid so well. Now I find myself worrying, "what is this? should it be this color?" but the whole time I am secretly worrying I still manage to tell her, "Its ok, Momma's here." I guess it is almost like the little story we tell our Children about Santa, we want them to believe that there is all wonderfulness out there but in reality life can be scary. Maybe as parents we are not good at hiding these little things as we hope we are, maybe our babies just over look our imperfection's and allow us to be perfect in their tiny eyes. So I guess while we are trying to hide how scary life is they are just trying to discover how unscary it can be.

(She is playing with her Vtech toy, she has figured out if she uses her foot she can watch it on the tv better.....smarty pants!)
