Today I realized that Addison and I were at battle. Yes, I do realize she is only 13 months old but we were at that point. The point where I realized that we are either going to win, or not win....I just cant bring myself to say the word. I think you know which one.
So today I did what I always do in these situations.No I did not consult a book or the internet.... I called Andrea to ask for her advice, she never fails. If you have parenting questions I can give you her number....
But anyway back to the battle. Addison has never been a fan of things on her feet. We just got her to wear socks......but now that she is walking it is getting a little more important for her to wear shoes. So I called Andrea and she gave me the idea to put bells on her shoes. So I went and got her a pair of shoes and bells...and she fought a good fight. But unfortunately for her I came prepared! She keep them on for a good 30 minutes! That is huge improvement!!
I am pretty smart. But please don't give my number out to everyone. Because that would take away from our hours on the phone. Haha! I am so happy that Addison kept the shoes on. Over time she will get use to them and find out that fighting over shoes isn't worth anything when a toy or sparkly thing has peaked her interest! Haha! But she is growing and I couldn't be more proud of the 2 of you! Congrats!
