I am so excited that this day has came. It seems to get easier once you hit three months old! I hope this is true for the twins.
We all went outside on Monday to watch daddy put together a table for Mommy. The babies even went out to watch. Talon loved it and watched with intent. Sophia however just wanted to close her eyes....it was cloudy but still too bright out there! They are getting so big! I think we have the sweetest babies! This month they have really started laughing and smiling. It warms my heart to see their innocent joy!
I am trying to get their routine going. We have nights pretty well figured out. Now I just have to get the days straight! I think that our life will be so much easier once I get them all sleeping and eating at the same time! Being a mommy of twins has really made me look at everything completely different. I catch myself just thinking about my next move to get things done. I feel like my brain is so bogged down with the silliest things. Like, who's turn to be changed, or be fed. Or where is Addison's sippy cup, or when is the last time I took her to potty? My head is full of being a mommy all the time!!!! That is why I really enjoyed getting away just us this weekend. We left all the kids with Nana Papa and Memaw. They were really brave but they made it. I think they feel a little sorry for me though. It does get hectic at times but I am learning to tune it out...and just keep my mommy thoughts rollin!
Sophia looks like a little delicate princess! I LOVE it! And Talon is getting cuter and cuter each day. He looks much better than when he was down here sick. Bless his lil' heart! So glad yall are able to get out and enjoy the day!
ReplyDeleteAnd you aren't alone in the mommy world... potty training and keeping up with fresh sippy cups is hard. I don't know how you do with with also feeding 2 babies! You're amazing and I hope you figure out that routine soon. I feel like I am just right behind you!
