It wasn't just a good weekend for Addison with her birthday party and all that.... Daddy had a little fun of his own! It sure was nice to be back out in the woods again. I watched 4 doe and 2 small bucks earlier in the evening. They were all too far away and in too much brush to take. They left the area and about 45 minutes later, just before dark, this big boy trotted across the field. Everything worked out perfect for this 100ish yard shot. This is Talon's first up close inspection of a deer. I imagine it won't be long before this little explorer is headed out into the woods with Daddy.
