Wifie Problems

All I want to do is make Jon love coming home. I do this any way I can, drugging the kids, bribing the kids, or cooking a good dinner. A normal wife might add something like a clean house but lets face it that isnt happening here!

So one night I decided I was going to grill some ribs for dinner, mostly because I found them in the freezer and knew they needed cooking!

So I grilled them....took my time....being very careful!

They turned out amazing!!!!! So I sent Jon this message, "Dinner is done you can leave work now" attached to this picture. His reply was excitement and telling me he would be leaving soon to keep them warm....

So I took the kids some off and let them start eating..... I even tried one and was so happy with the results!!

I decided it wouldent hurt to keep them on the grill a little longer to keep them warm and cooking.....maybe they would get so tender they would fall off the bone, right?

WELL they did!! My grill caught on fire......this is the picture I sent to Jon, and it read...."Feel free to stay at work...."

They literally were ashes, it was terrible. Yes I cried, yes Jon cooked his own grilled cheese while I cried. And yes the kids could not figure out what was wrong! I usually do not get this upset about something like this, but I had just sent him that picture! And he was coming home to something completly different, I am pretty sure that is false advertising!!


This happened a couple of weeks ago, I couldn't talk about it too much.
But I decided I was going to do it again! I did not tell Jon I was going to, because if it didn't turn out I was going to throw them away and fix something else really quick. (I am not kidding....)
On his way home he asked what was for dinner, I told him ribs, he said are you sure?? I said yes! They were good! SO we can all sit back and laugh at this disaster.....but only after I cooked them successfully....
