Only one more month until our little lady is ONE!!! We can not believe it! All week we have been talking about what we were doing last year at this time and how things have changed! I think we ponder these memories for two reasons, one is the fact that the tree is up! Putting the Christmas tree up always makes one think about the last time they put it up. And the second reason is we are realizing our baby is growing so so so fast! Last year when we put the tree up, I was swollen and very miserable. Jon actually did most of the work, poor guy. And this year I did most of the putting together. Addison LOVES it! She oooo's and awwwww's at it all day, we love it. Poor Christmas tree it is naked on the bottom half, because she has picked off half the ornaments and I have moved them higher. We only used half of the ornaments, we were worried she might manage to pull it over.
Not only do we think about how Christmas was, but we think about how our lives were so different a year ago. A year ago, I was swollen from head to toe and on bed rest. NO FUN! And a year ago on this very day we were watching it snow from a hospital bedroom window. This year we are watching it snow from our house out of any window we want too! We are so glad our little Punkin is here, we love her so much! She is the blessing that gets us through this thing we are calling life.

ReplyDeleteI love that sweet little girl! And can't wait to kiss all over her! I love the snow pictures! She is truly a blessing to us all! Crazy to think she'll be 1 in just one month! Time flies when you're having fun, huh?!?
