Christmas Tree Farm

We are all feeling better and getting back to normal around here. We will see how long that lasts!

But we decided since Nanny came to see us that we should go ahead and get our tree up for this year! So we went out to the tree farm. Addison had not had a nap so she was a little ill, so she liked it but not as much....

So with much debate on which tree is the best, we picked one out and brought it home! Jon and I have been married for 5 years and this is our 2nd real tree. Addison LOVED watching us put the lights on and helping decorate it! She thinks it is the neatest thing! Jon did come in and ask if she put the lights on herself. WHAT???? I told him no, I put them on with her help and the twins! Does anyone know how hard it is to put on tree lights when you cant bend over????? I even have to get help to get out of the floor, what does he expect? After that I told him, that I NEVER want to put up a christmas tree again, while pregnant! He paused and looked at me and said "sounds good to me!"

And everyone can rest knowing that I am not including the picture of the barn..aka me. I am getting a few more comments from people when we are out such as, "Your gonna have that baby any day now" and "not much longer."
People see this big belly and think, wow that girls gonna pop. But really I have a few more weeks. Is it sad that I just tell people. "yea pretty soon" If I say something generic like that, I do not have to go into details about there being twins! I am thinking about getting a shirt that says, "Yes, I am pregnant and please do not talk to me." Everyone just wants to be friendly and I guess we hormonal pregnant people need friendly people to be around. I am trying to be friendly...I really am..

  1. Thank you for the laugh! You are so funny! I promise not to say ANYTHING about your "size" when I see you (when ever that is)! Because no matter what people say such as: "you sure are small for twins!" or (one of my favs) "Wow girl, you're still here!?!?" It won't and never goes over well with a PREGNANT lady! Haha!
Thanks again for the laugh! I am so happy you got your tree up! And that Addison is loving it! Hugs and Kisses from Auntie Andrea!

  2. I guess sayin something like, "Tight as a tic on an ole coon dog" wouldn't be appropriate so I ain't gonna say it; but I betcha it's pretty close.:-)
