I now enter into the last and final trimester of my pregnancy. I am in week 28. Which according to my books means that I am in my third trimester. I only have 10 weeks maybe even less to go. I have mixed emotions about the or less part. I enjoy one child, so going to three is going to be a shocker! However, I can not wait to hold these little babies in my arms and kiss their sweet cheeks.
So far my pregnancy has been so much better than when I was pregnant with Addison. I have enjoyed this one so much more! All I have to do is "take it easy" to keep the contractions at bay. So that is what I plan to do...
I feel HUGE, like the size of a BARN! I was told I might get so big that I cant roll over by myself at night....I can totally see that happening. The other night a pillow prevented me from rolling over and Jon was on the other side. I tried to get up and I realized I was STUCK! Seriously, who does that happen to???? Another sleeping problem I have is the babies shifting, I described this to Jon the other night, who then told me that was cruel for me to do to the babies. (Like I can change what they do) But, everyone knows that you have to sleep on your side when you are pregnant, and well that side gets tired of you laying on it so you have to switch sides. Well as I switch sides I usually have to take a break mid roll to let the babies shift. If one were to watch my tummy you would actually see two little bodies changing position....this is the point that Jon said I was cruel. Apparently I should just stay on one side to not wake the babies. Even though they wake me several times a night! I should get used to it, because in a couple of months there will be no sleep for me at all!
As we enter the final trimester I would like to also say thank you to my wonderful husband. I could not do this with out him, literally,in more ways than one.... But he has been so patient with me and my pregnancy ups and downs. He has also been so sweet to help me obtain my cravings, like brownies, pumpkin pie, cookies and cream shakes at Chick-fil-a and pizza. What a good man. He also does not laugh when I eat in larger quantities...which I am so thankful for...I do not need help realizing that I ate almost an entire pumpkin pie in less than 24 hours. So thank you honey, its for the babies!
We will go to the doctor on Thursday to see the babies and get them measured...I enjoy seeing them when we go. It puts me at ease knowing that they are cooking well.
I am sorry that there is a not a cute little girl in this picture. You will just have to take what you can get.....a barn!
I loved reading this update! I loved seeing your belly picture! You're too cute! I am so thankful you haven't had all the complications like you did with Addison! We're praying God continues to bless you with an amazing pregnancy! We love you 5!

ReplyDeleteYou look cute! Not like a barn (and I know barns. :)) We can't wait for those sweet babies to get here, either. You do have a wonderful husband, and good taste in cravings (i.e., Chick-fil-a cookies n creme milkshakes and pizza. haha) Can't wait to see y'all again!
