First 24 Hours

So we made it! We survived 24 hours by ourselves! Nana and Nanny went home to be at there houses and left this crazy Mommy to handle things on her own!

So many people have asked.....(My least favorite question) How do the babies do at night?

I know why everyone wonders that. Most people know what it is like to have one baby at night but they wonder how crazy it is with two....So I will put that question to rest...
First let me say that it could be much much worse than it is! I am so blessed with two very sweet babies! They are very good, to eat and then pass back out for sleep! We give them a bottle around 9:00pm, then at 1:00am and then at 5:00 am. (I breastfeed during the day, if I breastfed at night I would never sleep!) So now that you know the times, now you need to know the routine. Talon wakes up first. It takes me about 30 minutes start to finish. Then Sophia takes about 45 min. So in total it takes a little over an hour to feed the babies. I do get a little moody when a feeding takes 2 hours...I am working on it, but it is tough! Lately Sophia has been having a little trouble with reflux. So nights have become a little rough. But maybe you get an idea of our nights...and if you are up and want to chat just give me a call.
