A First

A few days ago we had a first. You are sitting there waiting for something like a first giggle. Or a first roll over....but no. It was our first trip to walmart! I took all three kids by myself to WALMART! Who does that? I guess I am crazy to do it! The babies did great. Talon slept and Sophia looked all around. And since I had one baby in the upper part and a baby in the bottom that meant Addison was walking. She did ok, I guess. She could have done a little better I suppose, maybe a few less fits or a few less walking away moments. But I will be honest. The hardest part was people stopping to talk to me about all of my babies. One woman said, "Wow you have your hands full!" I wanted to say then why are you stopping me to tell me that? There are always interesting people at walmart.

The only reason I took them was because we just left the gym and I needed to pick up a couple of things. So we were gonna "run in" and get back home. It was not a bad trip but needless to say I will not be taking all the kids again for a long time!

We had a wonderful weekend! We visited Athens to see the Matlock's. It was great because everyone helped with the babies. They also watched them and let us go out for the day. It was so much fun!!!!

We only have a couple of months before Jon takes his next set of boards. I have mixed feelings about the next six months. He will be studying really hard every weekend until the boards and then he will take them! Then he will be leaving me for a few months to do try out rotations. He will be gone for about three months. I know I will be fine. We always are but it is a little intimidating to think about...I will blog a lot during that..

The babies are growing so much! They are so social these days, talking and giggling. I love it! Addison is still a stinker. She is talking more and more everyday, and it is making more sense too! We have been trying to get her out and play more. So in the picture she is bringing Daddy her kick ball to throw it. She did not get the concept but she had a blast!
