Just like any other day....

This is one of the many things we do during the day. Someone is bouncing, someone is practicing their sitting skills and someone (Addison) is just trying to have a little fun!

Today was a little different though. Addison went to bed last night with goopy eyes. Which is no big deal since she has such allergy problems. However, when she woke up this morning her eyes were gooped (yes, even I am wondering if this is an actual word...) so much that she could not open her eyes! She came out of her room so afraid! She was screaming, "HELP MOMMY," it was too funny!

So I took her in to see the Doc. we knew there was possibly an eye infection but we wanted to get her ears checked. Her eyes get goopy anytime she has an ear infection! And we were right! She has a double ear infection and PINK eye!!! This is the first case of pink eye I have dealt with as a Mommy so it has been a learning curve! Do you know how hard it is to get a two year old to let me put drops in her eyes? And who can blame her?? I hate eye drops too!!!

She has had a couple of doses of her drops and she already looks so much better!

I never was crazy about germs when Addison was a baby but having two little ones has made me a little more careful. Even a little less friendly when someone who has a cold wants to hold a baby. I try my best to be sweet...I REALLY DO!!! But when you have three little people you have to keep well or deal with sick, you start to get a little more careful! So Addison having Pink eye has made me a PSYCHO mommy! She is learning that she can not touch the babies because she is sick. And I am washing my hands like crazy!! And poor Addison has had two baths today!
