Poor Talon got upset that his sister was impeding on his personal space! She pulled up there all by herself. Even Daddy made the comment that she will be walking very very soon....
We had a great day yesterday! We spent two hours at the YMCA. Addison loved it!!! I worked out for an hour and then took her swimming for an hour. She loved the swimming and the play time at Child Watch. The ladies are so nice there, they even told me if I need a break just bring them in and go read or catch up on something. I am not sure if they know that I plan on doing this!!
It felt so good to work out. I told Jon last night that I really needed that, more than I even knew I did. It is taking me a little bit to get used to their equipment. I have had to go up/down on my weights to adjust. I am sure it didn't help that I have not worked out in WEEKS! After that great work out and day I told Jon I could live here if I had too.
However, I changed my mind last night!!!
I walked into the kitchen to fix bottles for the babies around midnight. And in the middle of the floor was one of the most feared creature in the Matlock house! Fear and disgust swept over me! The audacity of that creature to make its way into the place I was dwelling!!!! I am not a chicken who is afraid of everything. Just one thing. I am not sure why I am afraid of these seemingly harmless creatures but I AM!!! I know you are on the edge of your seat wondering what can make Hannah jump onto tables, chairs or anything available? It is a ROCHY BUG! I dont even call them by their proper name because it disgusts me! I am so blessed with a man who knows this about me and does not try to change it, like my parents or my brother and sister did. (Yes I got chased with plastic roaches many times! I did pretend one time it didn't bother me and that seemed to work) When we first got married we had a problem with them in the apartment. I would tell him when we got home that I saw one, and he usually asked if I killed it. Um NO!!
He pointed out that if I didn't there would be MORE!!! So I do kill them. But that's it. So I know you are wondering what I did about the one that stopped right in front of me last night? I gave myself a giant pep talk and grabbed Jon's shoe. I killed it and left it there. BUT I did tell Jon about it this am and he took care of it for me! What a good man!!! I am so lucky to have him, he didn't even say anything except that he was proud I killed it!! GO ME!
Oh well I better get off this thing to deal with these kids!
