Minivan Mishap Update

I know many of you are really worried about me and my reputation. So I thought I should take time to let you know about what went down yesterday!

Andrea came up to see us!! YAY! But when she pulled in the driveway, she said she knew it was our house because of the duck tape on the minivan! WHAT?!??! Do I have a reputation of duck taping it??? Or does Jon.....

Then later on the window started slowly falling down....and me being the good and supportive wife that I am just went out and reducktaped it. With out complaining or anything! I did not even tell Jon that it happened until he called me to tell me to find a car Doctor.
When he told me to find someone I told him I thought that was a good thing....one because I had things to do and the tape was not working. (Like I was really going to take the van out like that....)

So I asked some friends and did some calling! Apparently the part was going to cost $150.00. Jon said not to spend over $150.00.....so GREAT! right??? Well I found me a handy little mechanic down the street that said he would put it in the up position for $50.00. I did not think about that at all, I told him I would be there in an hour!

Jon told me that if it exceeded $150.00 that he would fix it...so I told him when he got home what the Mechanic told me...that the little machine thing, was broken in "100s of pieces" and he put it in the up position. Which is so much better than the duck tape! So Jon will fix it at a later date when he has time and we have money!

So if you ever wonder how much 50.00 is worth to you.....it is a lot!!!
